  • Awesome Moments:
    • Rose being the only one to beat a Strip challenge. For context, she was on a streak and was 10 points away from winning but was hesitant as she couldn't take anything else off without baring anything. Deciding it's worth one more shot, she takes her bra off and lands the dart on the 10 points needed to win.
    • An early season 2 episode had every contestant beat their respective challenge. Special mention goes to Natasha who despite her petite frame managed to beat two difficult challenges. Water Beam where she had to walk across a beam with jets shooting water and Lift Off where she had to hang onto handles that would lift her to flags which she had to remove. In the Top Dog showdown, she had no chance against Jamie due to the fact his longer legs allowed him to secure himself better on the trapeze bar, but she still put forth a valiant effort surviving both the rain the and the bars dropping.
  • Best Known for the Fanservice: In the 2020s, a lot of people only know about the show because of the Strip games, or rather, because of the two occasions where a female contestant stripped all the way.
  • Funny Moments:
    • Anika's failure at Sliding Floor Trivia.
    • Felix's reason for voting Derek to perform Paddle Wheel Trivia: Derek lost his Division 1 physique and he wanted to help Derek get cardio exercise.
  • Growing the Beard: Or straightening the hair. The second season improved a lot of facets of the show. They used a red light to show who would be doing the challenge rather than having everyone read their vote, allowing for a more fluid pace. The stripping challenges were removed providing a less awkward viewing. They widened the variety of physical and mental challenges bringing in some creative challenges like Over and Under and Ratchet Roulette, while keeping classics like Treadmill Trivia. Too bad it was the last season.
  • Hilarious in Hindsight: The Playboy episode had a challenge of answering questions from a passage read by the world's fastest talking woman. Brooke Burns herself would later be cast as host of The Chase where she would talk almost as fast for the cash builder round.
  • Overshadowed by Controversy: Unfortunately, most people only remember this show for an incident where a challenge went wrong and a contestant received brain damage. Even worse it's become an urban legend the guy passed away even though the man (Daren Goka) is not only alive but actively posts on Instagram. This is presumably the reason the show hasn't been revived even though other hits around the same time such as The Weakest Link and Fear Factor had.
  • Retroactive Recognition: Cutter Garcia would go on to play Paulie the Paparazzo in Hannah Montana.
  • Suspiciously Similar Song: For a time during challenges, an instrumental theme would play that bore a distinct resemblance to Black Sabbath's "N.I.B."
  • That One Challenge: Most of the challenges ranged from "fairly easy" to "hard but doable", but one challenge from the first season "Pole Sway" seemed nearly impossible. They had to climb up a 20-foot truss to a platform then using their own momentum, shift the pole to remove 4 of 8 flags a good distance away. They only had 2 minutes to do that entire process.
  • They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: "Thrown For A Loop" was more interesting than their recurring head-to-head challenge "Hanging In The Rain" due to being more intense and having high potential for photo finishes. It was only used in one episode and never seen again.
  • Values Dissonance: The challenge "He Or She" was pretty harmless, but Brooke's quip about the challenge "One of you will have to guess which of these women has all the right plumbing" would be viewed by a lot more people as transphobic nowadays.

Film:

  • Jerkass Woobie: Mad Dog. He's an Ax-Crazy murderer, but his often dorky and sweet demeanor and his self-loathing and genuine desire to change makes him rather sympathetic.
