- Hilarious in Hindsight: At one point, The Doctor uses a purple bandana to protect himself from the toxic fumes, while remarking that it isn't his colour. 8 years later, David Tennant would star in Jessica Jones (2015), and in it, Kilgrave's wardrobe is primarily based around the colour purple. Even funnier, at the same time Jessica Jones debuted, The Twelfth Doctor himself would wear purple for his regular outfit.
