YMMV / Doctor Who S16 E2 "The Pirate Planet"

• Complete Monster: Xanxia is a supposedly-dead queen of Zanak, who was so brutal and cruel that she is feared in legend long after her demise. To rejuvenate herself, she forced the Captain into transforming the entire planet into a special ship capable of jumping through space and plundering entire planets. Using this she proceed to wipe out ten entire worlds, killing untold billions, harvesting every scrap of mineral and material from them entirely so she could keep her body young, beautiful and immortal.
• Harsher in Hindsight: The next time the Doctor falls from a height, it doesn't end well for him. A vision of the Captain appears there too.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: The Doctor would bump to Issac Newton again. While the in typical Doctor Who fashion the given pieces of information do not fit with one another, one can imagine the scene where Fourth Doctor subtly throws apples at Newton only for ANOTHER TARDIS APPEARING OUT OF NOWHERE with two figures straight up telling Newton only for him to totally mishear the word, while Fourth wonders whether he didn't hit Newton too hard.
• Inferred Holocaust: The planet Zanak is now permanently parked in the orbit where Calufrax (a cold, wet, icy, miserable planetoid) had previously been.
• Moment of Awesome: It's heavily underplayed due to the limitations of BBC effects, but in the second episode Kimus gets in a gunfight with three armed guards, who have him in a crossfire. And wins handily.
• Moral Event Horizon: The fact that the pirates use a special weapon to crush and shrink planets - most likely killing billions - and then keep them as Pirate Booty is beyond despicable. Thus, it's completely understandable that the Doctor would absolutely blow his top at this revelation.
