- Hilarious in Hindsight:
- Steven Moffat makes a cameo as the school bursar (particularly funny as the author thought that this was the closest Moffat would ever get to being part of Doctor Who).
- One of the Aubertides tell Bernice he is the Tenth Doctor, but she realises he isn't the Doctor as he eats meat. Later the Tenth Doctor would be in the TV version, by which time the Doctor was no longer a vegetarian.
