• Periphery Demographic: Though Do Not Adjust Your Set was nominally a children's series, airing between 5pm and 6pm on weekdays (after the kiddies got home from school but before the adults finished work), it attracted a significant adult audience (including Gilliam, Idle, Jones, and Palin's fellow future Pythons, Graham Chapman and John Cleese), to the point that many adults were leaving work early to watch the latest episode!
