- Arc Fatigue: The HYDRA arc, which is seen by many as this. After the battle of the Triskelion, MANY chapters are told entirely from HYDRA's perspective before it returns to the heroes. A combination of factors has made it one of the more disliked arcs of the story, though the ending did well to make up for that lead up.
- It also didn't help that the ending wasn't as final as many would have liked it- HYDRA is still active, and have Trip and Agent Carter as brainwashed thralls, despite the "Final Battle." Even as recently as chapter 106 there are sections dedicated to HYDRA's actions.
- Harsher in Hindsight: In this fic, Wanda is getting magical tutelage from Agatha Harkness. When the two met in WandaVision, Agatha was the Big Bad of the series and was outright antagonistic towards her.
- Hilarious in Hindsight: Alfred Molina played Doctor Octopus in the second live-action Spider-Man film, so he gets a Remake Cameo in this story as a younger, tentacle-less Octavius. Years later, Alfred Molina would reprise the role in No Way Home.
