YMMV / Desperados 2: Cooper's Revenge

• Complete Monster: Lester Lloyd Goodman, aka "Angel Face", is a ruthless Railroad Baron building a new track in an area inhabited by a tribe of Native Americans. To vilify them, Goodman has his men attack treks and kill settlers while dressed up as tribe members. When John Cooper's brother, US Marshal Ross Cooper, investigates these attacks, Goodman has him murdered to cover his tracks. Later Goodman takes over the Native camp by force and threatens to have their women and children killed, should they ever try to rise up. After Cooper's group and the tribe join together to defeat him and his men, Goodman proves once more what a truly despicable man he is, when he gleefully tells John that his brother squealed like a pig when he died.
• Sequelitis: The two sequels for the game are not well-regarded, having been met with lukewarm reception due to weaker level design and bugs. Averted with Desperados III, which is seen not only as a return to form for an almost long forgotten franchise, but for the entire stealth strategy genre as a whole.
• Surprisingly Improved Sequel: Helldorado is an expansion pack for 2 but it actually fixes several issues from 2, like the unbalanced combat and the inability to melee attack an enemy from the prone/crouched position, it also adds some much needed improvements to the visuals, fixing obvious animation errors as well as having an option to have quick-actions pause the game, resulting in a much smoother and polished gameplay experience.
• Suspiciously Similar Song: The song which plays during Desperados 2 install sounds like an Ennio Morricone composition featured on a Western movie.
