  • Awesome Music: Everything. But most fans will say The Negation.
  • Contested Sequel: Blood Mantra. The Genre Shift to Groove Metal did not go over well with a lot of fans.
  • Broken Base: Their post-reunion material has caused this in spades. It's either a worthy comeback that does their legacy proud, or it's deathcore-ridden garbage that screams "tired band that needs to stop trying to stay relevant and just call it a day". Blood Mantra somehow managed to be even more polarizing, and finding a fan who doesn't have a strong opinion about it is basically impossible.
  • Epic Riff: "Spheres of Madness", "Winds of Creation", "Nihility", "Day 69", etc.
  • Moment of Awesome: Vitek. To the point where he was considered one of the best drummers in technical death metal, especially considering his young age.
  • Nightmare Fuel: "Dance Macabre"; seriously, that song is creepy even if you listen to it in a brightly lit room.
    • By some extent, the entirety of The Negation.
  • Replacement Scrappy: Rafal Piotrowski has generally not been received overly well by fans (this was also true of Adrian Kowanek, but not to the same degree). Michal Lysejko has also started to become this, but it's more because he falls into the "not Vitek or Krimh" trap.
  • Signature Song: "Spheres of Madness"
  • They Changed It, Now It Sucks!: A common complaint with Carnival Is Forever. It still has plenty of defenders, though. Blood Mantra is an even more glaring case of this, and the defenders are much fewer (though they do exist).
  • Win Back the Crowd: Cancer Culture has been this for those alienated by the band's newer material due to it successfully the elements present within their past albums Carnival is Forever, Organic Hallucinosis, and The Negation into their current sound, creating an album that appeals to old and new fans alike.
