- Catharsis Factor: Oh, yes. Putting up a bunch of spikes on the front of your car, especially.
- Game-Breaker:
- The Mines (especially when fully upgraded) are the safest way to finish a race early. Just make sure not to blow yourself up first.
- The Strikers, a swarm of homing missiles. Fully upgraded, it's the usual weapon of choice against the Adversary.
- The Bravestar in Free-for-all (Duke/Tex/Death) matches. Highly resistant to hits (it has the highest amount of armor upgrades) and with a powerful side weapon. As you can expect, it isn't the best choice for races.
- The Deliverator in races. It can take a lot of hits and is one of the fastest cars on the game.
- The Interceptor is as fast as the Deliverator, but as an exchange, it's a bit weaker.
- That One Level:
- Refinery has tons of props getting in the way of where your car is and which makes you to lose precious time.
- Rift has the layout of the relatively easy Hell Mountain/Rock Zone from the original game, but it's full of props which might make you lose precious time.
