• Moment of Awesome: Volume 13, during Satou's battle against the True Demon Lord, Doghead. Doghead ends up turning into Fenrir after learning the truth about the gods he fights against, and in his madness threatens to destroy the world via an encroaching barrier that consumes everything it touches. Satou takes him out by summoning Meteor Swarm directly on top of him, first to slow the barrier and then finally to obliterate Doghead himself. It takes over 1,000 direct hits from meteors before Doghead finally goes down. Satou watches in somber silence from far away after wishing him a happy life next time he revives.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: The first adaptation trailer looks pretty funny because Lulu in the moonlight looks like as nearly identical twin of Miyuki Shiba, and the protagonist has the nickname "Satou", which is identically to the surname of Miyuki's author. Not to mention the fact that Lulu is considered "ugly" in her world.
• They Copied It, So It Sucks!:
  • Although the original novel was licensed by Yen Press in January 2017, many people considered this series as a rip-off from Sword Art Online only because of the description of the synopsis and the fact that Sato is very similar in appearance to Kirito.
  • Additionally, the series was met with derision by some who were tired of it being yet another isekai series, a genre that has been over-saturated in Japanese media.
