• Germans Love David Hasselhoff: The film reportedly sold 60 000 copies in Germany under the title Death Academy - Die Lehre vom Tod.
• Harsher in Hindsight: In the scene where the students lists Swedish serial killers, the teacher mentions Thomas Quick. A few years after this film's release, it turned out that he was not only innocent,^note he is guilty of some crimes, such as sexual assult, armed robbery and a non-fatal stabbing, but he has never killed anyone but that the process to get him convicted involved so much manipulation and lies that it has been called the biggest miscarriage of justice in Swedish history.
• Nausea Fuel: The scene where the girl in the leopard-bra throws up on the camera that is filming from inside of the toilet.
• Narm: Oh, so much! At least the movie is conscious about it.
