• Nightmare Fuel: The opening scene where two would-be whoopee makers are interrupted by the Crones. Imagine seeing your boyfriend quickly dispatched in front of you then being abducted from by the same sack headed monsters who had killed your lover, then being forced to give birth without anaesthetic to an inhuman thing while in the company of said things. This scene is accompanied by the pleasant imagery of the woman's abdomen bubbling up in different places in a manner that a normal fetus would be incapable of whilst she screams in pain and terror.
  • The sack heads can be unpleasant to look at and have a propensity to barf up blood. They also love to lurk behind trees and peek through the branches, well camouflaged by the woodlands, and peer through windows when nobody is looking just to watch you.
  • The Painful Transformation at the end. After having her orifice invaded by Leslie, Becky had been slowly turning color. At the end, it finally comes to a head with large, black claws erupting from her hands and her hair and scalp being ripped out in pieces — culminating in her scalp being split apart and The Reveal of a black eyed, bloody monster who does something to Leslie.
• What An Idiot: So, Casey has just met a coven of witches plotting something sinister who displayed to her the future on a TV screen. This future has her taken into police custody for the murder of her family. She had already called emergency services and had a means of transportation. The witches tell her to dismember her family. You would expect Casey to give the witches the finger and out of there, allowing emergency services to stumble upon Leslie's machinations and the reanimated corpses lurking the cabin. However, instead of doing something that might actually fix things, Casey goes along with the future presented and dismembers her family, when logic dictates that she would know full well what such a future would hold.
