• Ensemble Dark Horse: Senator Gruber, the Only Sane Man of the Senate Hearing scene.
• Nightmare Fuel:
  • There's a plane out there spewing dangerous substances all over the world and nobody knows how to stop it.
  • People losing control of themselves and having uncontrollable compulsions to do things that would make sense in a cartoon, but have terrible consequences in real life.
• Tear Jerker:
  • At one point Mutt tries to call his family but ends up unable to say anything but barking. He breaks down crying and when Dick tries to console him, the effects of Unobotamium on his own mind kick in and make him lash out at his friend. The both end up lamenting what they have been turned into.
  • The crew that sacrificed themselves to stop the Pig One and save the world are retconned out of existence, with nobody in our world remembering their names, while they are transformed completely into cartoons with no memories of their former lives.
  • Mutt desperately pleading with Dick to stop the mission because he's afraid that he'll never see his wife and child again.
