- Funny Moments: Pretty much any time when the quest gets resolved (fully or partially) by someone else but the player characters. These are in no particular order Guide of Death (Deus Ex Mouseina on the main page), The Search (mentioned in Hero of Another Story), and King of the Pit (when the old man we came to find flat out just tells the "villain" to piss off and she does). Yes. All of these are varying degrees of Black Comedy.
- Memetic Mutation: MELONS. Ok... so the game's inbuilt original Japanese font had a "claw" kanji that looked a lot like the character for "melon", now this game has a lot of claw related grisly murder among other things.
- The Woobie: Poor Lefia is through a lot by the end of the game. Her guardian and only family dies in the prelude, she gets abducted, brainwashed, and experimented on, the main characters (and Merryl) save her (if you do that quest) just before she gets operated on to give birth to King Daruk's possible next body. Oh, and she is only thirteen.
