• Scrappy Mechanic: Scrappy lack of a mechanic - this is a 2D action game where you can't jump. Not only does this make stage design flat and awkward (because you can only change elevation with elevators and ladders), but it makes for some very unpleasant moments. For example, in the very first dungeon, there's an instant-kill spike pit right past the entrance where if you're not going full speed you won't have enough momentum to clear it.
