• Catharsis Factor: For those disgusted by her actions, it can be satisfying to see Karen Page running for her life and witnessing a murder. To rub salt in the wound, she even has the gall to call the name for the man she sold out.
• Moral Event Horizon:
  • Karen Page selling out Matt’s identity for a fix is uncomfortably self-centered, cruel and ungrateful.
  • The Kingpin’s preemptive strike against Matt goes above and beyond what is necessary and leaves the Kingpin as very much not a morally ambiguous character.
