- Vindicated by History: Cyclone, when new, had a mixed reception at best, mainly due to its lack of a multiball mode, as it was released at a time when multiballs were the most popular thing in pinball. As time went on and multiball was no longer as big a deal as it used to be, Cyclone gained more respect, and it is now considered the best of the Comet series of pinball machines.
