  • Game-Breaker:
    • There is an accessory that decreases the enemy's to-hit rate against that HERC by 25%. Loading up on four of them causes all of the Cybrids to become graduates of the Imperial Stormtrooper Marksmanship Academy. The sequel also has this accessory, but multiples don't stack and their effectiveness is greatly reduced on large HERCs.
    • A multiplayer skirmish is capped to a certain credit value in the lobby, but your force's value in credits is the sum of (HERCs + Recycle value of assigned Bioderms). Wait, recycle value? As Bioderms participate in successful missions, their skills increase, but their recycle value decreases linearly as they near the end of their lifespan. It's a very simple matter to run skirmishes against no opponents to artificially age your Bioderms until they are both highly skilled and 1 month from the end of lifespan. At this point, you can put all those extra credits into improving your HERCs further and then save your force. It doesn't matter that all of your Bioderms die after every multiplayer skirmish because you can just reload that saved state in each new lobby. This is incredibly exploitative and would provide a massive advantage over anyone who hasn't done the same thing.
  • Nightmare Fuel: Turn off voices and death animations in the options, trust us on this one. For those who want to know  Happily removed in the second game, where the video feed to a Bioderm's face simply cuts out when the HERC is destroyed.note
