• Fridge Brilliance: The Anachronic Order at the end of the series — first showing Pearl's Day 9 Boogey kill, then Scott's refusal to kill on Day 8 — could simply be to illustrate, "Hey, you've seen so many people murder people because of this curse, then is it possible to resist the curse?", to which the answer is, "Yes, and the guy who did this won, but pissed off the gods for doing so and got smited for it."
• Heartwarming Moments: In an animatic filled with death, destruction, and betrayal, there's a short scene from Day 2 of Martyn rushing to try to help Ren put out the fire in his tower, and the two being clearly happy to see each other.
  But the smoke clears when you're around
