YMMV / CupcakKe

  • Heartwarming Moments: "A.U.T.I.S.M." Rather than the all-too-common portrayal of autistic people as Inspirationally Disadvantaged or other well-meaning but harmful tropes often used by neurotypical people, she extends an olive branch to autistic people and lets them know she has their backs. It also shows that for all her infamy for her over-the-top sexually explicit lyrics, she also raps about serious issues and solidarity for often-maligned groups of people too.
"You ain't gotta feel alone / I understand your tone / You can talk to me even if I got 1% on my phone"
"Some might repeat words / it still need to be heard / I'm tryna hear every verb / I care more than a nurse"
    "A Unique-Thinking Individual Strongly Matters"
  • LGBT Fanbase: Gay men love Cupcakke, for the same reason they love the Cock Destroyers - her music is so over-the-top that it becomes Camp. She loves her queer fans right back, even dropping a song called "LGBT."
  • Memetic Badass: Cupcakke, mostly because how unrestrained and unapologetic she is about expressing her sexuality, which many fans find to be endearing.
  • Memetic Mutation:
    • During the late 2010s and a resurgence in the 2020s thanks to TikTok, there's been a trend to make remixes/mashups using Cupcakke's lyrics. It has even gotten to a point where things that aren't even music get remixed.
    • The comments sections of these remixes have comments that go like "This is the original, but it got rejected for being too emotional to sing" or how "Cupcakke stole [original singer]'s weave"
    • One mashup that gained a special amount of attention involves "CPR" being combined with Maroon 5's "Misery" and a rap from a Reese's Puffs commercial. This led to a meme format where the three songs are used as a invokedCharacter Alignment chart of sorts, classifying characters based on which of the three songs best describes them ("Misery" for Wangsty types, "CPR" for perverts, and "Reese's Puffs" for Manchildren and Big Eaters).
  • Never Live It Down: A lot of the remixes have the soundclip of her saying "Papi" despite her saying it once in "Vagina".
  • Signature Song: "Deepthroat" and "Vagina"
  • Squick: She's so explicit (read: nasty) in her sex songs that you really have to be in the right mood for them. Maybe songs like "Cumshot" and "Duck Duck Goose" aren't exactly songs you want to have on while you're eating dinner.
