- Ensemble Dark Horse: The Undercover Partner seems to be the most popular teammate.
- Fan Nickname: "Slow Motion Johnny," coined by Retsupurae for the last enemy at the car dealership, who falls from a roof in slow motion.
- Fridge Horror:
- The gunfighting and exploded barrels and canisters in the nuclear plant will screw up the local environment. Your teammates aren't wearing adequate protection either.
- Mission 3-3 in the sequel ends with your partner blowing up the boat, even though there was a hostage inside during the gameplay segment.
- Fridge Logic: Exactly how are you promoted to Undercover by being a rabid Cowboy Cop?
- Narm: Plenty. Some hostages appears to have Stockholm Syndrome because they're smiling while calling for help.
- Narm Charm: On the other hand, there's very little doubt that this is what they were going for; the games accurately capture the same sort of atmosphere one expects to find in a classic over-the-top summer action movie.
- One-Scene Wonder: The hilariously over-the-top Man on Fire that jumps out of the meth lab before it explodes.
- So Bad, It's Good: This game contains ludicrous overacting and filmmaking mistakes.
- Stock Footage Failure:
- The gunfights with randomly ordered enemies lead to some obvious continuity issues, most glaringly the car lot fight in Undercover where the clouds keep teleporting between shots.
- The Bus stage in the sequel is even more obvious due to the moving background that jumps all over the place.
