  • Alternative Character Interpretation: According to one blogger, Crayon Pop might actually be a punk band in disguise.
  • Ensemble Dark Horse: One of their managers, known as "Wife Jung," has become well-known among fans for the playful rapport he has with the girls in many episodes of Crayon Pop TV.
    • "1,2,3,4" shows up on many a fans' list of favorite songs by the girls, in spite of it not being one of their promoted singles.
  • Piss-Take Rap: Everyone gets a rap part during the verses of RaRiRuRe, to varying success.
  • Special Effects Failure: The pogo sticks supposedly dropping from the sky after Crayon Pop blast off at the end of the Bar Bar Bar (Global Version) video are clearly just thrown in from behind camera.
  • Suspiciously Similar Song: The opening bars of "Lonely Christmas" and the theme for Lupin III are very similar. There was some suspicion at first of plagiarism, but the composer of "Lonely Christmas" has stated that he didn't even know the theme, and pointed out several key differences between the two.
  • Tear Jerker: The excitement over a new Crayon Pop album and comeback with "Doo Doom Chit" and Evolution Pop was derailed barely a week into promotions when it was announced that Soyul would be taking a leave from activities due to chronic stress and anxiety disorder.
