• Jerkass Woobie: Even if you were satisfied by Silver giving Stingray a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown, the fact that Silver apparently nearly killed him can't help but make you feel a little sorry for him.
• Take That, Scrappy!: If grounding without screens, as well as his father's serious scolding, weren't enough, Anthony receives a good beating from Kenny for his previously deplorable behavior, effectively fulfilling Laser-Guided Karma.
• Unintentionally Sympathetic: Seeing Sam lose to Tory and Anthony getting beaten up by Kenny could both be seen as Catharsis Factor as both LaRusso siblings have been acting like total jerks to their respective nemeses the entire season. Unfortunately, Silver's backdoor bribery to the ref in the former case and Kenny fully embracing his Start of Darkness in the latter, as well as the fact that Anthony had begun to atone, robs both of these instances of their comeuppance and makes Sam and Anthony look like the victims. It should also be clear Tory was disgusted to find out Silver bribed the ref.
