- Awesome Music: The entire album is brilliant. Standouts include "Headlong Flight" and "BU2B." At least one fan described hearing the title track live as being "like a religious experience." It's that good. It helps that during the Clockwork Angels Tour, the band brought along a string ensemble to accompany them in the second set of each show — not just on the Clockwork Angels tracks, but also on several of their older songs.
- Tear Jerker: "The Garden" has made more than a few fans cry.
- Even more-so after Peart's death when it became clear that "The Garden" is the final Rush song.
