YMMV / Clicking Bad

Go To

  • Game-Breaker:
    • Sleazy Lawyers can put you into negative DEA Heat, and have several upgrade to decrease their already negative Risk Factor.
    • The Mech Suit and the Chemistry Doctorate upgrades. The former allows you to sell in one click 50% of what all your distribution units sell in one tick. The latter allows you to produce in one click 50% of what all your production units make in one tick. Considering that your click production/selling before this is laughable, this gives a VERY substantial boost and allows a player with a fast clicker/autoclicker to get lots of gains easily. The upgrades for your click only get subsequently better after that.
  • Scrappy Mechanic:
    • While it's easy to avoid the DEA via having enough lawyers/diplomats, it's more complicated to avoid the IRS at least in the early game and especially if you're trying to save up for something expensive. The higher your percentage of unlaundered cash compared to your total cash, the higher the chance of them appearing and seizing a good bit of your cash. It's recommended to lower it by buying laundering facilities, but said facilities tend to be expensive and you cannot increase your laundering speed via clicking. Thankfully this stops being a problem once you obtain NYME and Food Franchise, which launder an obscene amount far higher than your profit gains, ensuring that pretty much all your cash will be laundered.
    • Even if you can keep the DEA and IRS' hands away from your cash via laundered funds, certain rare negative events will hit your funds pretty hard — even the laundered ones. Laundering only works for DEA raids and IRS audits, and those negative events don't count as either.
