- Awesome Music:
- Broken Base: There has been a decent amount of backlash based on the site's Twitter account after it was bought by Cards Against Humanity and the tone of its content changed drastically. Some consider the new style of comedy employed in the tweets unfunny and obnoxious, while others are neutral toward it and are mostly happy that Clickhole's employees have more power now that their owner has changed.
- Crosses the Line Twice: This site is as if BuzzFeed was run by a crazy person who was so tone-deaf that they'd do things like celebrate a man who got bricks dropped on his head because he got to experience Tetris, or that the oldest living man dying is a score for feminism.
- Genius Bonus:
- Their "All Religions Are Beautiful" video is a very subtle Shout-Out to Peter Shaffer's Equus. In that play, Alan Strang's passionate obsession with horses starts when he decides to worship a picture of a horse that his atheist father had put in his room to replace the painting of Jesus that had been there before.
- In the "Stranded" ClickVenture, your stranded sailor character hallucinates Sir Isaac Newton, who is depicted as friendly, polite and good-humored, when the real Sir Isaac Newton was anything but.
- Hilarious in Hindsight:
- "This Recently Found Footage Of J.D. Salinger Will Blow You Away" becomes this after JD Salinger being alive became a plot point in Bojack Horseman.
- "These People Were There When Kennedy Was Shot, And Their Stories Are Incredible", published in 2016, has a line where one man refers to President Kennedy as "John F. President". In the campaign for Donald Trump's re-election campaign in 2020, at the Republican National Convention, Bob Paduchik has a Freudian slip where he accidentally refers to Trump as "Donald John President".
- Memetic Mutation:
- "Heartbreaking: The Worst Person You Know Just Made a Great Point", frequently posted as a reaction to real cases of Jerkass Has a Point.
- "5 Times The Animatronic Fox On Splash Mountain Addressed Me By Name And Told Me He Was Going To Marry My Dad" has gotten particularly infamous among the Disney Theme Parks fandom.
- Nightmare Fuel:
- The oddly nihilistic "It's the Sponge. You Love the Sponge."
- The mad ramblings in Jim Henson's newly discovered journal are both hilarious and horrifying.
- Their interpretation of the Republican presidential debates.
- 10 Telltale Signs That Daddy's Home. Neil Gaiman would be proud.
- Liver transplant recipient crammed full of livers.
- In House-Sit For Your Neighbors While They're On Vacation!, you are warned to stay out of the basement. You really should.
- Cobweb Lady is always looking at you. She's always been there.
- They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: Many think "We Can Determine Which State You're From Just From The Way You Answer This One Simple Question" would have been better if the question was "What state are you from?" (though, to be fair, a real BuzzFeed quiz used that same joke).
