  • Awesome Music: Who would have thought that a string quartet would blend so well with EDM?
  • Heartwarming Moments:
    • "Rockabye", a song about a single mom's promise to protect and provide her baby a better life.
    • "Symphony" features a singer confessing their love and comparing love to a beautiful symphony. The music video really drives it home where a composer lost his lover in a tragic car accident and as a tribute composes a symphony for him while his deceased lover watches on proudly towards the center stage.
  • Older Than They Think: Bond, an all-female string quartet, was mixing classical music with electronic dance music fifteen years before this act. The major difference was, while Bond was fabricated by a label, Clean Bandit formed independently.
  • Narm Charm: The pre-choruses of "Rockabye" about the protagonist's love for her child and her wish for him to have a better life are so emotionally vibrant that most fans don't notice or care how bad the writing is.
    • Sean Paul randomly going “Daily struggle!”
  • Signature Song: "Rather Be", "Rockabye" and, to a lesser extent, "Symphony".
  • Tear Jerker: The heartbreaking video for "Symphony": a young bicyclist is killed in a hit-and-run, and the rest of the video proceeds to jump back and forth between his partner, a composer, painfully grieving and their blissful love life leading up to the tragedy. In the end, he composes and conducts a symphony in his partner's memory.
