• Ending Fatigue: In the 22nd Trial, Sayaka turns out to be the only one who could've stabbed Chihiro, but manages to keep the trial going on for another six parts by confessing to the stabbing and raising the possibility that Chihiro could've already been dead. The rest of the trial then diverges into the class pursuing red herrings and attempting to pick apart minor alibi details.
• Memetic Mutation: While apologizing to Sayaka during the 22nd Trial, Makoto sadly states "I'm Sayaka" instead of "I'm sorry, Sayaka". This typo led to the single most enduring meme on the website.
