• Hilarious in Hindsight: In the first game, released in 2019, Tilda, the octopus bartender keeps threatening to punch Clam Man for annoying her. Research in late 2020 showed that octopuses in the wild really do punch fish with their tentacles. This is because the fish are hunting alongside the octopus, and the octopus doesn't want the fish to take its food. So basically, octopuses really do punch animals that bother them.
• It's Short, So It Sucks!: The only complaint that frequently occurs in Steam reviews of the first game is that it's rather short. It takes about 3 hours to complete if you take your time and explore everything.
• Moral Event Horizon: Mayor King crosses it in the climax when he attempts to kill Clam Man by dropping him into a vat of boiling mayonnaise.
