  • Difficulty Spike:
    • Once Class Changes become available the game quickly lets the player know that failing to utilize them is not a very good idea.
    • Up until the Guardian Dragon, the boss fights follow a pretty standard curve, only for it to completely spike there and beyond.
  • Game-Breaker: A proper combination of Techniques can turn a magic-oriented class into a one-man army, especially since the ones that boost power by X% stack while another Technique set allows for a single spell to be cast up to four times at once, allowing for nearly 40,000 damage to be done in a single turn.
    • Class changing in general. With the proper item, a character can change class at level 30 (but it's best to do so at level 40 to have all of the skills for that current class) and the game itself states that the more class changing a character does, the stronger the character will be. If a character trains in all four of the base classes before moving on to the final class, every single one can easily solo even the Superboss.
  • It's Short, So It Sucks!: The main complaint about the game. The first run can be done in about 10 hours- even when tackling all of the side quests- and a New Game Plus run can be finished in less than 3.
  • Squick: King Milka's battle sprite. Not only does his stance keep his legs spread, but he's clearly wearing a codpiece!
