- Alternative Character Interpretation: For both the Legendaries and Pokémon owned by Ash and Gang. In fact, most of them never really have an established gender! Hence, most interpretations of certain characters can run pretty wild. It's played for laughs in some cases.
- Fridge Brilliance:
- Ash being the offspring of Lugia puts Latias' crush on him in a new light; I mean, if Ash is part Legendary Pokémon, he should be able to breed with Legendary Pokémon, or at least that's how Latias sees it.
- Speaking off, Ash being the result of an Interspecies Romance between a human and a Pokémon isn't exactly out of the blue. The Japanese version of the Sinnoh folk tales state that this actually was fairly common long ago. Nowadays however, only Legendary Pokémon practice it, and even then, they must disguise themselves as humans first, as Lugia and Latias do.
- Reinforced when Ash asks if Lugia and Delia are legally married, which Dialga confirms; the folk tales specifically mentioned humans marrying Pokémon.
- Friendly Fandoms:
- With Saphroneth's Ashes of the Past, in part due to Saphroneth himself being a fan of the fic.
- The fic's fandom has a large overlap with the one of Zorua Trainer, presumably due to both being Ash-centric fanfictions.
- Hilarious in Hindsight: In Chapter 127/Episode 97 (The Fourth Round Rumble), Articuno reveals that he has bad history with Scyther due to an incident with a swarm on Murcott Island (an Island known to contain rare Bug-Type Pokémon). Then comes Pokémon Legends: Arceus revealing Kleavor, the ancient evolved form of Scyther.
- Spiritual Successor: To Legendtrapped Beta, with Legendtrapped Beta being a rewrite of Legendtrapped Alpha, which is another chatfic. The Legendaries usernames and characterizations are taken from Legendtrapped with the exception of Moltres whom was mute in Legendtrapped but becomes a chatterbox in Chosen One's Adventure's with Legendries.
