- Alternative Character Interpretation: It's worth noting that Amanda only acts like a Bitch in Sheep's Clothing after she finds out that she could get a lot of money from selling Diane's apartment rooftop. Another way of seeing this is that Greed is her ultimate flaw, in the same way that Diane can be too lazy and also a bit proud of herself sometimes. Whether she's a Jerk with a Heart of Gold is left unexplored, however, but it was obvious that she and Diane genuinely got along.
- Aluminum Christmas Trees: The Wieners Circle from the Halloween Episode is a real place in Chicago, including the part where employees are verbally abusing customers as "part of the experience".
- Genius Bonus: Zuzana being Catholic makes sense because she is revealed to come from Poland, where majority of the population is indeed Roman Catholic. Diane is just ignorant for thinking she's Jewish because of Zuzana's nationality and vaguely European accent.
- So Okay, It's Average: While it's not without its fair share of laughs and genuine heartwarming moments, general consensus is that it's a very middling show with criticisms targeted at its brand of humor and art style, which is heavily derivative of Seth MacFarlane's, being seen as outdated or, at the very least, overplayed by The New '20s.
