- Evil Is Cool: Orin is quite an effective villain for having more than the usual stock Charmed baddie motivation. What's more is that he withstands the vanquishing potion, and nearly would have killed the sisters if Ava hadn't been there.
- Hilarious in Hindsight: Tobin Bell causes more problems for Emmanuelle Vaugier in Saw II.
- Narm:
- Paige's bad delivery of Ava's mother's box "it's so beautiful" sounds very flat.
- There's also the way Paige comes off the phone to say "Madam Teresa was murdered". She says it as if it was in doubt, putting too much emphasis on 'was'.
- Special Effect Failure: Phoebe's premonition is just the vanquishing scene being re-used. Ava is not meant to be there in the first premonition, but her shoulder can be seen in the clip they use.
- They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: Ava just appears in this one episode - although an Expy of her called Eve shows up in Centennial Charmed. Despite an interesting backstory and a whole new mythology to explore, it's never tapped into.
