YMMV / Charmed S2E4 The Devil's Music

• Complete Monster: Masselin is a demonic soul trader who makes deals with mortals in return for them giving him good souls. Masselin then devours them and keeps them alive within himself as he tortures them for pleasure. Signing in band manager Jeff Carlton, Masselin threatens to burn him alive if he doesn't bring him an endless supply of victims, and later adds the Charmed Ones' young friend to his collection to lure them out.
• Take That, Scrappy!: Jenny is particularly Wangsty in this episode, running away in tears just because she can't go to one concert. So it ends up being rather satisfying when Masselin temporarily swallows her whole.
• Unintentionally Sympathetic: Carlton is very much a reluctant accomplice to Masselin, and outright refuses to keep giving him souls. The demon punishes him by temporarily setting him on fire, making it obvious he literally has no choice. He also helps the sisters as best he can once they say they can free him, and Prue ends up framing him as a kidnapper to preserve The Masquerade.
