• Catharsis Factor: Beryl Gut goes through a full Humiliation Conga in chapter 3, starting with Norm accidentally breaking one of his legs and ending with Romani putting him in a full body cast and "accidentally" dropping a smelly substance on his chest and making him have to smell it through a whole night. Since Beryl is a canon Hate Sink who was about to do something unsavory to Perry and, before the story and the game, broke Mash's finger out of a twisted desire to see her emote, many readers were very satisfied to see this.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: Almost two months after Touko appeared in chapter 4, her sister Aoko became a summonable servant in Fate/Grand Order.
• Tear Jerker: The end of chapter 9 emphasizes the tragedy of the Incineration of Humanity, especially as it takes the loved ones of our heroes.
  • Despite Phineas and Ferb's reputation of accomplishing impossible tasks every day, their efforts to protect Danville only bought them a short amount of time. Vanessa's final message to her father has her rambling about how everyone, even the talented boys, gets taken out one by one and her hope that Heinz would be able to stop it. Heinz lets out a roar of revenge towards the monster responsible for his daughter's death before breaking down, and Atalanta has to stop her master Perry when he futilely tries to find any security footage of his boys.
  • There's a scene of Ritsuka Fujimaru that hits just as hard, as he goes catatonic knowing his little sister and friends are all dead. Mash is barely holding on as she grabs him so he doesn't collapse.
  • Olga Marie might have avoided her canon death, but that doesn't spare her the heartache of learning that her Only Friend Lev only pretended to be her loyal henchman to use her to control Chaldea. He gives her a Breaking Speech on how he isolated her from everyone to make her easier to control, then planned to kill her with the explosives under the coffins if Doofensmirtz didn't intervene in time. The poor girl is left catatonic by the end of the chapter.
