- Awesome Music: Any, if not all of their songs.
- Amazing Grace.
- And for most people...
- Three words: TIR. NA. NOG.
- "Mo Ghile Mear (My Gallant Star)"
- Americans Love Celtic Woman: While they're considered nothing particularly special in Ireland itself - Ireland, after all, already has world-renowned Anúna - they are huge in the USA and Australia. They even sang a song called "O America!"
- They are also popular in Japan. The video game Endless Ocean: Blue World extensively uses their songs on the soundtrack.
- Broken Base: There are three camps of Celtic Woman fans - those who listen to the group because of Hayley Westenra, those who think the group was ruined when Órla and/or Méav left, and those who just want to listen to pretty Irish music, damnit. The groups don't really get along.
- Moe:
- Máiréad Nesbitt to most fans, being a cute fairy-like lady who's an absolute pro at the violin.
- Orla Fallon, Lisa Kelly...heck, basically every single member past and present could qualify!
- Second Verse Curse: The second verse for "The Sky and the Dawn and the Sun", a signature opening number for concerts, was omitted from the recorded version on A New Journey.
- Signature Song: Each of the women has a song or two they're particularly identified with.
- Chloë: "Ave Maria", "When You Believe", "Panis Angelicus"...
- Lisa Kelly: "Send Me a Song", "The Moon's a Harsh Mistress"
- Méav: "Dulaman", "I Dreamt I Dwelt In Marble Halls"
- Órla: "Carrickfergus", "Isle of Inisfree", "Harry's Game"
- Lynn: "My Lagan Love", "Carolina Rua"
- Alex: "You'll Be In My Heart", "My Heart Was Home Again"
- Lisa Lambe: "A Spaceman Came Traveling"
- Tear Jerker:
- "Isle of Hope, Isle of Tears," about Ellis Island, will probably make you cry. There's others in there, too.
- "Garden of Eden" from the more recent Ancient Land is about a man who metaphorically abandons his fiancée in favor of the titular place. Though the tone of the music is much more upbeat compared to the lyrics.
I wrote you a letter everyday but the garden of eden took my love away...
