- Alternative Character Interpretation: Marty chose to kill Lily to use her body to revive Sally, since the two girls have the same blood type. However, he didn't bother trying to look for a stranger with the same blood type, which would arouse less suspicion from Sally. It's possible that he knows Lily has a crush on Sally and that part of his motivation is to Murder the Hypotenuse.
