• Narm: There's a larger-than-life adventure feel to much of the series, but it veers into this when the Raiders, fresh from liberty leave in Hawaii, decide to attack Colonel Sakata's island base on surfboards. In the actual comic, they just surf to shore at night, so they can swiftly ambush the beach patrol, then unpack their uniforms and weapons. But Covers Always Lie, so they're shown surfing into battle in uniform, with Captain Savage dual wielding pistols and the others firing rifles.
