Additionally, several viewers have said that Richard E. Grant should have won the Oscar. The fact that the actual winner is widely agreed to be a leading actor didn't help.
• She Can Really Act: For her role in the film, Melissa McCarthy has received some of the best reviews of her career and was nominated for Best Actress at the Oscars.
• Squick: Jack discovering all the turds that Lee's cat has been leaving under her bed, some of which are visibly mouldering.
• Tear Jerker: Lee returning home from Yale only to find Jersey dead.
