- Fridge Horror: The movie ends with a UFO landing in broad daylight, and CJ7 leading hordes of scurrying fellow aliens all over the place. Aliens normally do that when they're INVADING.
- Funny Moments: when playing with CJ7 by making him mimic different emotions, one kid actually suggests You Killed My Father.
- Chow playing CJ7, aka gleefully torturing the poor thing by stretching him out and tossing him around.
- When CJ7 turns into a plushie, Chow and Dicky try everything they can to fix him...including trying to figure out where to put batteries into him.
- Tear Jerker:
- In the last portion of the movie. Dicky's father dies due to an unfortunate construction site accident. Dicky takes the news as any child would; Hard.
- Also a Moment of Awesome/Heartwarming Moment: CJ7 uses its remaining life-force to revive Dicky's father, Chow, who goes home and falls asleep next to his son. CJ7 then dies from using its energy to bring back Chow.
- They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: When CJ7 is found by Chow and Dicky, they spend the entire movie blissfully unaware of CJ7's repairing power until the alien's death. But there could have been story potential if they did find out. Would they use it for their own gain or for others? Would they have noticed the toll this power has on CJ7? And if they did, what would they do next: keep using the alien's power to fix more objects, or save its life?
