• Awesome Music:
  • 'Cause we are Burning Rangers! Go~! They will never let you down~!
  • "Angels with Burning Hearts". The English version is as good, or possibly even better, than the original Japanese version, (which VGCW fans are otherwise more familiar with for a reason).
• Cult Classic: The game is one of the most obscure titles developed by Sonic Team, as it was released on the Saturn towards the end of its life, and was difficult to find even for owners of the console. While not nearly as popular as the team's other outings such as Sonic and NiGHTS, it has a rather strong following, and fans have been urging Sega for years to re-release the game or revisit it in some capacity.
• It's Short, So It Sucks!: A common criticism of the game is its short length, as it only contains four levels and can be beaten in a couple of hours. Much like NiGHTS however, the game encourages repeat playthroughs, urging players to improve their skills to earn higher grades, find all the civilians, and offers a random stage generator mode, allowing for over three thousand unique routes.
