- Audience-Alienating Era: A number of Bullet's fans declared Temper Temper to be this due to its simpler approach and lack of screamed vocals. Gravity has also become this as the band departed from their usual metalcore and thrash sound, with the album having a nu metal and alternative metal sound.
- Estrogen Brigade: A fair share of Bullet's fans are female due to Matt's appearance.
- First Installment Wins: The Poison and Scream Aim Fire are generally considered to be Bullet's best albums. Although now many, especially non-fans, consider Venom to be their best. Coincidentally, it shares the same producernote as the first two albums.
- Signature Song: "All These Things I Hate", "Waking the Demon", "Scream Aim Fire", and "Your Betrayal" are all very popular, but standing above them all is "Tears Don't Fall".
- Surprisingly Improved Sequel: The band's self-titled album released in 2021 was considered a big improvement over Gravity due to the heavier sound and a return to thrash and metalcore.
- They Changed It, Now It Sucks!: Many fans of Bullet's earlier compositions were let down by "Temper Temper" and "Riot". Same can be said for Gravity, which took a more Alternative Metal direction.
