• Anticlimax Boss: Rei Jenron on Easy/Medium difficulties is an absolute joke of a boss, with his attacks being easy to dodge and the player having various options to burn down Rei's HP very quickly.
• Breather Boss: While Malron of Venom has a spin attack that makes close combat near impossible, Malron has no ranged attacks and is constantly summoning easily-killable spiders to attack for spell energy.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: Bujingai wasn't the only video game where Gackt played a red-headed swordsman whose former friend turned enemy was a katana-wielding swordsman with long white hair.
• That One Level: The seventh and final level, starts with gliding between platforms above the clouds and running up walls. With the difficulty of controlling wall runs and gliding, you can probably guess why this is a problem. After that, the player is expected to fight off several waves of enemies in various rooms before the fight with the White Demo-Dragon followed by Rei Jenron. Thankfully, if you ever need to prepare for the boss fights, you're free to leave in order to upgrade your stats and skills before returning.
