• Complete Monster: Razor is the leader of the Hellions, a demon biker gang who goes from town to town causing as much destruction as they possibly can. After learning that the Hellmouth is unguarded, Razor has his gang assault Sunnydale, throwing the entire city into complete anarchy overnight. Once he's moved in, Razor's gang captures, kills, and rapes anyone they happen to come across, with Spike revealing this is the routine they've pulled all over the country. After dismembering the Buffybot with his motorcycles to christen their homecoming, Razor then confronts the Scooby Gang, intending to rape Tara and Anya to death with his gang.
• Genius Bonus: Anya corrects Xander when he worries that Buffy will come back as a zombie and eat their brains. Anyone savvy on their mythology knows that zombies eating brains is Newer Than They Think and only popularised by The Return of the Living Dead (made in 1986). Even before that, the zombie as we know it today is influenced more by Night of the Living Dead (1968). What Anya corrects Xander on is that the original Afro-Caribbean legends had zombies being resurrected and controlled by a specific person.
• Harsher in Hindsight: A meta-example. The Scoobies rush to say goodbye to Giles at the gate of the airport, something which was possible at the time the episode was filmed but not by the time it aired.
