• Adorkable: Xaphan is characterized by her childlike enthusiasm and wonder towards the world, becoming positively giddy over ordinary, everyday things like automatic doors and phones.
• Alternative Character Interpretation:
  • Did Hornblas summon all the demons in the first season finale solely to enact the Reckoning, or did he do it partially to spare his friends the tortures that would've awaited them had they failed?
  • On that note, did Hornblas expect his friends to be in Hell for the Y2K party? Or did he figure, with him gone, they wouldn't return to Hell willingly, and thus be out of the line of fire for the Reckoning?
  • Did Trainee become a demon solely because she thought the power and immortality would be cool, or did she do it out of a desire to feel included and wanted?
• Angel/Devil Shipping: A canon example, with the sweet, selfless Trent dating Asmoraius, a literal demon. Oh, and it turns out Trent is a literal angel.
• I Knew It!: A good chunk of the audience had guessed that Trent is an angel before the tenth episode confirmed it.
• Jerkass Woobie: Misroch is a total prick, but they clearly have a massive Inferiority Superiority Complex, and they hated their life back in Hell.
• LGBT Fanbase: Casual queer representation in a story about a group of misfits trying to make it in Hell and Earth? You bet this series has one!
