  • Awesome Art: The cover art (and page image) is just beautiful.
  • Informed Wrongness: The story emphasizes how disenchanted many people are with the hero system for glorifying its heroes, discriminating against Quirkless people and those with "villainous" Quirks, lack of liability for collateral damage. The problem is that the story doesn't do a very good job of showing it. The only pro heroes that have gotten any prominence are All Might, Endeavor, and the Original Character Absolute Zero. While Endeavor is a Nominal Hero (albeit an extremely competent one), All Might and Absolute Zero have shown themselves to be competent, caring, selfless, and tend to limit collateral damage in their fights while prioritizing saving people. While the arguments presented are present in the original My Hero Academia, these are rarely touched upon by the narrative in brilliant lights will cease to burn, as Izuku gets left alone at school after showing some spine and is generally well-liked by the people he's always helping. Keeping Quirkless people out of heroics is done out of fear for their safety without a superpower. Izuku himself is responsible (albeit accidentally) for the release of the Sakura Cards, allowing them to rampage and cause damage.
