• Jerkass Woobie: Mercury with a touch of Iron Woobie. He's a jerk, but every aspect of his character is influenced by his abysmal childhood to the point that a family genuinely loving each other is a foreign concept to him.

• The Woobie: Emerald. All she ever wanted was a home, and she though Cinder could give it to her, but instead she was abused and put into a situation where she was in over her head and desperate to escape.
