• Adorkable:
  • Bravoman's nerdy attitude draws him many fans, inculding Waya-Hime.
  • Anti-Bravoman also qualifies, due to his status as an Ineffectual Sympathetic Villain who displays instances of dorky behavior.
• Archive Panic: The only ShiftyLook webcomic to get to 300 comics.
• Ass Pull: Benjamin can talk during the Bravo Blaster arc; the writer admits that it was too hard writing him as a silent character, so "just say he got a voice chip from Dr. Bomb. or something." The newly-spoken Benjamin talks somewhere between Xigbar and Beat and suggests beating up Bravoman to show the writer up.
• Awesome Music: The ending theme for the web series, as done by Area 11.
• Can't Un-Hear It: After listening to the cartoon, it's hard not to envision the characters with their respective voices.
• Harsher in Hindsight: During the final episode of the webseries, Bravoman is informed of the show ending and asks Alpha what will happen if no more episodes are made. Alpha replies that they'll just fade away into obscurity. While his reply is meant to be comical, this is exactly what happened after ShiftyLook shut down.
• Ho Yay: Anti-Bravoman is Bravoman's Stalker without a Crush, but the "Without" part occasionally seems questionable: His webseries debut has him following Bravoman from the rooftops and he has a "Memory Book" containing one of Bravoman's used napkins, some of his hair and candid photos including one of Bravoman sleeping and another of him in the shower. The picture of him showering is even labeled with a heart next to it! When he finally meets Bravoman, his attempt at a villainous speech quickly derails into stammering and "Y-You too" and he winds up adding Bravoman's used popsicle stick to his album.
• Just Here for Godzilla: A large number of fans tuned in just to support Area 11.
• Woolseyism: The original manual stated that Bravoman started out as an average salaryman, basically Japan's term for a Pencil Pusher. In the Animated Adaptation of the Shiftylook comic, he's referred to as a mild mannered businessman.
