• Alternative Character Interpretation: Lisa - a selfish Manipulative Bitch who uses people to get whatever she wants out of them, or was she just unlucky in certain cases? And are she and Lou more alike than different?
• Jerkass Woobie:
  • He's much heavier on the Jerkass part than the Woobie part, but the sheer amount of hell that Lou goes through is bound to stir up at least a little pity for him. He also does have some redeeming qualities, such as his love for his son Jonathan and his reaction to finding Jon's been turned into one of Boro's undead servants is one of genuine heartbreak.
  • Lisa. On one hand, she's not exactly a shining example of morality herself, but between her issues with her Missing Mom and the spitefully petty way Lou goes about taking her dream away from her all because she rejected his sexual advances, it's hard not to feel for her.
• Memetic Mutation: "Episode 4, 35 minutes".^explanation This marks the timestamp of the scene in episode 4 in which Lisa has sex with Roy whilst he fingers the hole in her side, left behind from one of the kittens emerging. Reactions to this particular scene quickly became a viral trend on TikTok.
• Nausea Fuel: So, so much.
  • Lisa vomiting up kittens. When she says she's not doing it anymore, the next kitten comes out of her side. Then she has sex with Roy while he fingers the spot the kitten came out of!
  • Boro's undead servants eating the "discarded" pieces of meat she purchases from the butcher. And eating it raw like a bunch of dogs.
  • Mary's Eye Scream.
  • Lou's Eye Scream as well, made worse by the way Lisa pulls the very long tapeworm out of his tear duct. Ouch!
