- Complete Monster: Brahms returns, manipulating a man named Joseph into fixing him, and began preying on a boy named Jude, causing him to gut Joseph's dog, and nearly kill his cousin. Eventually trying to have Jude murder his parents, Brahms murders Joseph in a rage when Jude's father damages him.
- Sequelitis: It's generally seen as a step down from the first movie, primarily because it contains unambiguously supernatural elements, something which the original film went out of its way to subvert.
